Hello there!  My name is Jackie and as you can see here, I have a passion for making delicious and inviting pastry desserts that are within Ketogenic/Low Carb/Diabetic-friendly dietary guidelines.  I decided to make a website to show my creations and progress in self-taught pastry techniques!

I adapted this way of eating after putting on more weight than I was comfortable with after getting married.  While many people call it “happy weight”, I was far from happy with my well-being and clothing size.  I had endured multiple cycles of weight gain and loss throughout adulthood.  I decided to take the very-low-carb plunge in February 2018, curious about the anti-inflammatory claims, freedom to eat lots of fat, and brain benefits.  Since then, I have lost about 15 lbs and counting – but more importantly – I’m now the highest functioning version of myself, filled with energy and focus!

My goal is to make low carb dessert options more popular so we can eventually see them in restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores…and they would be indistinguishable from the carb-laden ones.  Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
